Emerson Climate Technologies is pleased to announce the introduction of our Next generation of pressure transmitters PT5N-Series, with unique features, covering our customers demand as full replacement of our current pressure transmitters PT5 series, in the range of -40°C to +135°C medium temperature.

PT5N series is based on thick film technology, with stainless steel pressure sensing element fully laser welded to the pressure connection, enabling full hermetic feature.

An integrated electronic, and a state-of-art pressure sensing element, provide the highest precision on a very wide temperature range, making PT5N series particularly suitable for very accurate superheat control applications, and it fulfils the highest requirements in terms of reliability and stability.

The new PT5N series is compatible with all group A1 refrigerants (HFC and certain HFO-blends) and CO2, thanks to its stainless-steel sensing element, and its housing.

The new PT5N-xxM (-40°C to +135°C) models exceed the previous PT5-xxM ones (-40°C to +100°C) in maximum allowable medium temperature, very suitable f/e on reversible heat pumps application, where during the regular defrosting cycles the pressure transmitter is exposed to high temperature gas.

A special version with ATEX pending approval will complete this range for refrigerant group A2 (R32), A2L (certain HFO-blends) and A3 (Hydrocarbon). This will be announced very soon.

·       PT5N-xxT with 6x40 mm stainless steel tube and integrated brazing neck for easy mounting in applications requiring a fully hermetic system solution
·       PT5N-150D with pressure connection 1/4“-18 NPT male suitable for subcritical and transcritical CO2 systems
·       Available in single or 25 pieces multipack
·       Fully exchangeable with PT5 series
